SATELLITE IMAGE GALLERY from Intermountain Digital Imaging Landsat TM Color Image Tutor 様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様 This tutorial has been written to demonstrate how color images are generated from the data sent from Landsat satellites. Landsat satellites collect electronic images with seven specially designed optical sensors. Each sensor is designed to collect light of a specific color or color region. The satellite then sends these images to the ground station where they are processed into black and white pictures. The different bands are usually combined by the users to generate "false" color pictures. These color pictures usually show up details which cannot be seen by the naked eye. With this program, you will be able to view each individual band and generate your own "color" images of the Grand Canyon. Press any key to continue .....
